Training Program

The Success through People -Interview Training™course provides you with a series of easily retainable concepts and models which allows you to proactively handle your interview.

During the 2.5 to 3 hours Training Program, your consultant will take you through the following steps:

Behavioural Profile

Prior to meeting with us, you are required to complete an on-line questionnaire from which is produced the profile. This help us tailor your training session to your specific needs.

Assessment

A few brief questions similar to those you would expect to be asked at any interview to assess how well you would normally perform and to identify your strengths and weaknesses. This is used to fit the Proactive Interview Approach to you.

Interview Training

A step by step model which allows you to internalise a format that is specific to you- your abilities, your experience, and your competencies. This is a rigorous examination of the interview process, articulating the 'sub-text' of the process, and allowing you to fit 'you' in to an 'interview presentation'.

Key areas covered in the training include:

• First Impressions
• Communication style - 'body language'
• Identifying the style of the interviewer
• How much or how little to include in an answer
• Understanding the impact of your answers
• Identifying and communicating your 'Competencies'
• Handling awkward questions, 'strengths and weaknesses', 'mistakes you have made'
• Conveying a previous negative experience in positive terms
• Determining if this is the job for you
• Panel Interviews
• Salary Negotiation
• Achieving interview closure

CV Clinic

Your trainer will help you produce a CV which not only 'gets you the interview', but works for you before and during the interview.

Post Training Phone Session

Although our clients generally do not need it, we do offer a 20 minute phone wrap up / follow up session when you will have the opportunity to ask the questions you did not think about during the training session.

You might also want to use this opportunity to further discuss the second interview you have been invited to attend after your first successful @Interview trained interview!

The training format and delivery mode can be altered to suit your requirements and availability. We also offer phone training sessions and can deliver it on modules over several sessions. We are happy to discuss these with you
